About amtomp3

amtomp3 turns public Apple Music links into a list of songs you can choose from and save as MP3. It runs in your browser, with no app to install and no Apple account to connect.

Start with Apple Music to MP3 for conversion, or use the Apple Music downloader for guidance on song, playlist and album links. Both use the same download controls and free allowance.

What happens to your link

Paste a public song, album or playlist URL. The server reads the available titles, artists and artwork, then shows the result before you start a download. Choose the tracks you want; each one keeps its own progress and result, so a missing track does not hide the rest.

Public pages have limits. A playlist may expose only part of its track list, and a private or region-restricted page may not be readable. We cannot see your private library, purchased files or listening history.

Where the audio comes from

Apple Music identifies the recording. The downloader searches public audio sources for a match and encodes the result as a tagged 320 kbps MP3. It does not download or decrypt Apple Music’s own streams.

A match can be unavailable or have a different version of a song. Check the title, artist and duration before saving. When a track fails, its row keeps the reason and any available retry or source-selection options. The source sets the real audio quality; a 320 kbps output cannot restore detail that the source did not contain.

Our promise: free forever

amtomp3 is a community project built for public benefit. We promise to keep the core downloader free forever, with no account, payment card or ads required for free use. You can look up public links, choose songs and save MP3s within the free allowance without becoming a supporter.

The free downloader works a few songs at a time, with a daily allowance. Optional support helps keep the project running. Supporter access unlocks larger batches, ZIP downloads and the removal of that daily allowance. The resulting MP3 is the same either way. Current options and gift key redemption are on the supporter page.

There are no ads and no sign-up form. The server still needs request logs, temporary jobs and shared caches to run the service. The privacy policy explains those records, usage analytics, supporter orders and their retention periods.

Rights and responsibility

amtomp3 is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Apple Inc. Use it only when you have the necessary rights and your local law permits it. No browsable music library is published here. Rights holders can use the copyright policy and takedown process to identify material and request removal of cached copies. The terms explain acceptable use.
